Ira Ryan + Ned Ludd = Amazing Market Bike
I just spent an amazing Saturday morning tagging along with Chef Jason French of Ned Ludd restaurant.
Officially, I was gathering images and information for an upcoming Peloton Magazine story about the market bike that Ira Ryan built (in collaboration with Trucker Racks and Tanner Goods) for French to take to the Farmer’s Market every weekend.
Unofficially, I was just stoked to get a few hours of time with this super funny, immensely talented guy – and after he weighed the market bike down with about 100 pounds of cargo, I could even (almost) keep up with him. The tasty Saturday brunch (trout!) that followed was a triple bonus.
Keep your eyes out for the American-themed Peloton Issue 16 (November-ish) for more about this oh-so-Portland bike project.

Saw that earlier – really good stuff.
Such gorgeous and functional bikes always make green with envy.
These are *really* gorgeous shots!
Thanks, Caroline!
There will be more in the magazine. I’ll set aside a copy for you from my stash. Hope you are feeling better!
That’s it. I need to subscribe to Peleton.
Just read the piece in Peloton, fantastic. What a great business Ned is running there, just makes me fall in love with Portland even more.
